Playgroup guidelines:
- Playgroup is run cooperatively, and each parent/ caregiver is responsible for the children they bring.
- We are respectful of each other and help when needed. Everybody pitches in to ensure playgroup sessions run smoothly.
- Your input as a parent is valuable. Children learn best when adults take an interest in their learning and play. Please bring along your ideas for activities, we would love your contribution.
- Positive behaviour management techniques are used at playgroup.
Some examples of these are:
- Praise positive behaviour
- Supervise children and be available to offer support as needed
- Support children to resolve conflict positively
- Support children to express their feelings
